Creek County, Caney Valley host USL this weekend

By John Rittenoure - GLENPOOL, Okla. (April 21, 2025) - Defending champion Johnny Kent will be looking to extend his two-race win streak when the Ortco, Inc. United Sprint League presented by Same Day Auto Repair returns to action for a pair of events this weekend.

After picking up wins last weekend at Tulsa Speedway and Creek County Speedway Kent leads the early points race and will lead a field of challengers into battle Friday when the series returns Creek County Speedway.

Kent grabbed the lead last Saturday at Creek with three laps remaining after trading sliders with Tim Kent. Kent raced to his second victory while Tim Kent fell to third on the final lap giving was to Tanner Conn.

Race time Friday at Creek County is 7:30 p.m.

Saturday the USL travels north to Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas. Last year Matt Sherrell picked up a victory at Caney over hometown favorite Andrew Deal and Johnny Kent who ran third.

Race time at Caney is 7 p.m.

As usual both shows offer heat race pay in addition to the feature purse. Tow money will also be paid to those with perfect attendance.
